Cattle and sheep must be tagged with an NLIS-accredited tag or device to be sold through a saleyard.
Livestock consigned to a saleyard must be accompanied by the current version National Vendor Declaration on delivery. GRLE reserves the right to refuse entry to any stock that do not comply with these regulations or to tag any livestock at the vendors expense.
Friendly Reminder: From 1 January 2021, NVD types (0413) will no longer be accepted. From this date, only the current version (0720) will be accepted for all species of livestock movements.
